Abstract		ECOREGNS shows the boundaries of the Sonoran Desert and Apache Highlands ecoregions for Pima County. Ecoregions are large areas of land and water delineated by common climate, vegetation, geology, and other ecological and environmental patterns. These boundaries were developed by the US Forest Service and then refined by The Nature Conservancy.
