You can control the look of printed MapGuide maps by adjusting the portrait or landscape setting in the print dialog box and the print options set in MapGuide with right-click, Page Setup... The Adobe PDF examples here show what the major print options look like when printed. For more printing help, see Printing the Displayed Map.
| Portrait with no legend |
This is the default for our MapGuide maps. (Other sites may differ.)
|
| Landscape with no legend |
This is usually the best choice because the map fills the page.
|
| Portrait with legend |
This wastes a lot of space on the page, but may be necessary if you require portrait mode and a legend.
|
| Landscape with legend |
This is a good choice if you need to add a legend.
