Overview

Pima County GIS parcel maps show Pima County parcels, parcel access and streets. These maps differ from Assessor Record Maps maintained by the Pima County Assessor's Office in these ways:

Non-Taxcoded Parcels

Some areas have not been assigned a parcel code by the Pima County Assessor. These areas are given the following codes:

With the exception of "999999999 - Unknown" these areas are all non-private land. The "Unknown" areas may be non-private land or they may be pending assignment of a parcel code by the Pima County Assessor.

There is a layer on our MapGuide map called "Parcels - Non-taxcoded" that displays these areas. The Non-taxcoded Parcels layer is visible at 1:50,000 scale and closer.

Many of these non-private land areas can be researched through Subdivision Final Plats. If there is no subdivision plat for the area, consult the Pima County DOT Engineering Information Management Section which has further information on Pima County Government property rights and rights-of-way.
