|Descriptive name||MSCP Portfolio|
|Spatial domain||Pima County|
|Abstract||MSCPPORT represents the suite of lands that may be applied to mitigation requirements under the Multi-Species Conservation Plan's (MSCP) Section 10 Permit. This includes three types of properties, each with different mitigation ratios: County and Flood Control District lands with restrictive covenants, select conservation easements held by the County, and State Trust Land grazing leases held by the County.|
MSCPPORT also contains encumbered properties that are not currently applicable to Section 10 mitigation. These are called 'Conservation Land Restrictive Covenants'. These are included because they were developed in tandem with the 'MSCP Restrictive Covenants' described above and also because they may someday transition to Section 10 mitigation.
To query the mitigation lands, select 'MSCP' = 'YES'. This selection appears as "MSCP Mitigation Lands" on SDCP MapGuide. To display all restrictive covenants regardless of type, query for the appropriate property types in the 'PropType' field. This selection appears as "Restrictive Covenants on Pima County Preserves" on SDCP MapGuide and "Restricted Conservation Lands" on the main MapGuide. This terminology is mimicked on the respective PimaMaps maps.
