| Abstract | pt22ecc displays the combined areas of each Pictometry 2022 2-inch and 6-inch resolution ECW file. The ECW's show the best available resolution for any given project area. Therefore, some 6-inch project areas may be slightly smaller where the 2-inch areas have coverage. The rectangular area covered by each ECW is apparently determined arbitrarily by Pictometry. "Neighborhood" and "Property" are the terms Pictometry uses for photos taken at certain elevations and detail. For this 2022 project, this layer includes all of the project's ECW file areas at both "Neighborhood" and "Property" resolutions. | |
| Known errors/qualifications | The 6-inch areas have been upsampled (resampled) to 2-inch resolution to be consistent across the entire project area. In that sense this layer's combined ECWs are 2-inch, but they display as lower resolution in the 6-inch areas. Upsampling doesn't capture more detail, although it may minimize pixellation and replace it with a bit of a blurriness instead. | |
