Abstract | rdmaint shows roads accepted for maintenance by Pima County in legal instruments. The layer is primarily used to determine the history of when a subdivision road was accepted into the Pima County Highway maintenance system. It is used when there is a tort issue and DOT or County Attorney staff is inquiring about the legal instrument that was used to accept the road. All roads accepted under this instrument are subdivision roads.
Known errors/qualifications | While this layer's roads are generally in unincorporated Pima County, some may be in incorporated areas as a result of an Annexation, which transfers the maintenance of the road to the Annexing Jurisdiction.

Maintenance description | GDM / EIM recieves a memorandum. The memorandum is scanned in by EIM and input into the document management system. Jody in GDM inputs the spatial extent of the roads accepted for maintenance in the 'rdmaint' feature class in the geodatabase / including the necessary attributes. The roads accepted for maintenance report code link the document to the spatial feature. Trigger: Feature class edits cause a database trigger to do post-edit processing, including calculating the URL field value from other feature fields.
