File name | stinters | |
Spatial domain | Pima County
Abstract | stinters displays street intersections and ends of streets that don't end at an intersection as points. Street ends are considered an intersection with "END OF ROAD" in the STREET2 field.
Known errors/qualifications | street name fields (1 to 4) and roadid fields (1 to 4) don't necessarily correlate with each other. i.e. street2's RoadID may not be in the roadid2 field. The number of street names and RoadID's for an intersection may not be the same because street names are not duplicated while RoadID's are all unique and therefore included. There are a number of "pseudo intersection nodes" where two street segments meet and have the same name. These are historical artifacts from previous street models that may be removed in the future.
