Abstract		The RFCD Grid-based Aerial Photo Sections layer shows PLSS sections associated with one or more historical grid-based aerial photos of the section. It can be used as a spatial index map of the project's photos as seen on the RFCD Grid-based Aerial Photo page at https://gis.pima.gov/maps/rfcd/aerialsgrid/ The photo project's "grid-based" name comes six different area grids of section coordinates defined for the project within Pima County, each with their own origin. The original photo grid coordinates have since been translated to PLSS section coordinates. Both are included in this layer's attributes.
Known errors/qualifications		While individual photos are identified by section and a 'C' (center), 'S' (south), 'N' (north) or 'A' (arbitrary) location in the section, the photos generally cover considerably more than the section's area. Most photo coverage overlaps with adjacent section photos. Therefore, it may be helpful to see photos for adjacent sections as they may cover your area of interest, possibly with different photo year(s) or quality. This layer is static. It's only for the completed grid-based photo project.

Lineage		PLSS section geometry for this layer was largely derived from the Pima County layer (trs), but also includes sections from small portions of adjacent Pinal (pinaltrs) and Santa Cruz (scc_trs) sections that have grid-based photo coverage.
